     'Many of our family and friends here at Barrel Service are avid fly-fishermen. As a result, in 2009, we came to realize that our shop capabilities and resources could be used to create very capable and yet affordable fly fishing reels. Therefore, we’ve used our 60+ years of contract machining experience to build a product that is of very high quality without an outrageous price tag. The low price of our reel does not indicate that we cut any corners in its construction. There are no castings or weak plastic parts anywhere in the assembly. It is cut completely from solid aluminum just like the most premium reels on the market.'
